And of course Scary Snacks are necessary to frighten your friends and foes. In this video I show you how to make a hideous Eyeball Crostini, a Creepy Black Bean Dip, and a Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Grave. Be sure to like and Subscribe! Top with prosciutto and set aside. Take mozzarella and slice lengthwise. Poke hole with a boba straw 1/4 inch wide. Slice green olives in half and chop black olives into small pieces. Take green olives and add pointy side down into opening of mozzarella ball. Take black olive piece and put into green olive. Add mozzarella eyeball onto crostini with prosciutto and arrange so prosciutto wraps around mozzarella ball. Enjoy! Creepy Black Bean Dip: 1 Can black bean, cleaned and drained 1/3 cups fire roasted salsa 1 clove garlic 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp smoked paprika 1/4 cup chopped cilantro juice from half a lime 2 tbsps warm water In a food processor, add black bean, fire roasted salsa, garlic, cumin, kosher salt, smoked paprika, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Pulse until puree is slightly chunky. Remove top and add warm water. Continue pulsing until black bean is a smooth puree. Pour into serving bowl and serve with favorite tortilla chips For Halloween decoration: Draw 4 concentric circles and drag out from middle to create spider web. Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip: 1 tbsp unsalted butter 1 clove garlic 2 cups cooked or frozen spinach, drained 1 1/4 cups chopped artichoke hearts 8 oz cream cheese 1/2 cup sour cream 1/3 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tbsp milk 1 tsp nutmeg (optional) fresh cracked pepper Bread loaf Cut top of bread loaf and carve middle out. Cut bread into cubes and set aside. In a saucepan on medium high heat, add butter until melted. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute until fragrant. Add spinach and artichoke hearts. Cook for 2 minutes until any liquid evaporates. Add cream cheese and let melt for 2 minutes. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, kosher salt, milk, and stir to combine. Simmer on low heat until bubbly. Add freshly cracked pepper and remove from heat. Transfer spinach artichoke dip into bread bowl and dust with nutmeg. Dip with bread cubes and enjoy! Decoration: Add bread tombstone on one end of bread bowl and insert skull, spiders, or other creepy crawlers.
